INTENSIVE ENGLISH

Intensive English course offers General English and IELTS Preparation courses. The General English course is divided into 4 levels from Elementary to Upper-Intermediate. Teachers work from a detailed syllabus with textbooks and a variety of classroom activities. Multiple teaching methods are used to get the best results. The IELTS Preparation course aims to achieve students’ needs for the IELTS exam. It is designed to assess the language ability of candidates who want to study or work where English is the language of communication. IELTS is recognized by over 6,000 organisations worldwide, including universities, employers, professional bodies, immigration authorities and other government agencies.

GENERAL ENGLISH

The General English course is the most popular course for our students for whose aim is to improve their English skills. Aspiring Language Institute offers 4 regular different levels from Elementary (Level 1) to Upper-Intermediate (Level 4) though-out the year.

*We offer Beginner or Advanced classes from time to time. Please contact us for more details for those levels.

Level of class

Elementary:  This level is for students who are weak in English foundation and need to obtain daily English skills.

Pre-Intermediate:  This level is to help obtain basic communication skills and useful daily English skills. After this level students can communicate with other people in English?

Intermediate: This level focuses on overcoming daily communication barriers in English for students who have already obtained basic communication skills.

Upper-Intermediate:  This level is for students who have already achieved a good foundation of English  and want to improve their speaking and listening. This level mainly focuses on topic discussion and overcoming language communication barriers that impede fluency.

 IELTS PREPARATION

IELTS (the International English Language Tests System) is an internationally recognized English test for those who wish to enroll Universities and/or migrate in NZ. Our IELTS course helps you to achieve your target score, pinpoint your weaknesses and improve within as short a time as possible.
You need to have at least an Intermediate level of English to join our IELTS course.

*You can start with our General English course then move onto IELTS at a later stage once you reach the required level.

CAMBRIDGE EXAMINATION COURSE (FCE & CAE)

Cambridge English certificates are officially accepted by thousands of institutions around the world as high-quality proof of language ability, enabling you to meet the English language requirements of your chosen course. Cambridge English: First, also known as First Certificate in English (FCE) is an Upper-intermediate level qualification. It proves you can use every-day written and spoken English for work or study purposes. The demand for high-level English language skills is increasing all around the world. Passing Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE) shows that you are a high achiever. A Cambridge Certificate is a practical qualification and it is internationally recognized by employers throughout the world. Our Cambridge Examination courses are designed for education, work and leisure. They will give students the necessary English language skills required to take the FCE or CAE exam at the end of the course. There is an entry test for the Cambridge Courses.

BUSINESS ENGLISH

This is an intensive course which focuses on the goal of English language fluency within a business environment. From role-playing pitches to new investors, to presenting a business plan to your peers, our course offers a student centered approach to learning Business English.

Intensive English Class includes General English and IELTS Preparation Course.

  1. Movie days are not compulsory. Each session is $2.00. Sign up at the reception by Monday before 11:30.
  2. Movie days and activities are not mandatory, however, we encourage students to participate. Some activities may require participants to pay a fee. 
  3. Elective classes are an excellent way to improve that specific skill you feel is your weakest point.
  4. We will advise you which one can be the best option for your English learning process; elective class options are:
